Criteria:
The Billings Community Foundation makes
grants for a wide variety of charitable purposes in the following
focus areas:
(Please note: Half of our 2012 grant awards will go towards
brick & mortar projects)
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
-
Be a 501(c) (3) organization.
-
Submit only one application per organization, per year.
-
Organizations in Yellowstone, Bighorn, Carbon, Musselshell,
Stillwater and Treasure counties are eligible to apply.
About the Grants:
-
Average grant size is $500 to $1,000.
-
Recommendations for funding are made by a grants review
committee with final approval made by the Billings Community
Foundation Board of Directors.
Application Package:

Cover sheet (enclosed)
-
Copy of 501(c)(3) designation letter
List of board members, address, telephone number and email
address.
-
One-page project budget.
-
No more than a two-page narrative description of the project
explaining tangible community impact and how this project will
help the community address its future.
