Criteria:
The Billings Community Foundation makes
grants for a wide variety of charitable purposes in the following
focus areas:
Eligibility:
Applicants must:

Be a
501(c) (3) organization.

Submit
only one application per organization, per year.
-
Organizations in Yellowstone, Bighorn, Carbon, Golden Valley,
Musselshell, Stillwater and Treasure counties are eligible to
apply.
About the
Grants:
-
Average grant size is $500 to $2,000.
-
Recommendations for funding are made by a grants review
committee with final approval made by the Billings Community
Foundation Board of Directors.

Applications for operating funds will not be considered.

One-page project budget
-
No
more than a two-page narrative description of the project
explaining tangible community impact and how this project will
help the community address its future.

The Billings Community
Foundation has awarded $12,000.00
in grants to 15 non-profit organizations that serve people
in Yellowstone, Carbon, Stillwater, Sweet Grass and Big Horn
counties.
The grants range from $500
to $1,000 and
will help charitable organizations with programs such as violence
prevention, technology enhancement, and a community-wide reading
program program. |
